What do you notice?

DIFFERENT PEOPLE NOTICE DIFFERENT THINGS.

WHAT DO YOU SEE?

If you are a young man, its a picture of a lady with a nice derriere

but only the observant will notice that she is crossing a street. 

The really observant will notice that she is wearing a thong. 

For older men, she appears to be a respectable

woman-with a nice tush-on her way to work

The pervert among them will imagine her naked.

Wiser men will ponder the presence of mind of

 the photographer to take the shot in the face

 of such beauty and be grateful that they shared it.

For half the women, this is an ordinary woman

who should not have left home dressed that way. 

The other half will think she needs to go home and change

out of those pants but wonder where she bought that blouse. 

Older women will imagine the misery that the woman's

 curves will cause by the time she reaches 50.

But only children, and the extremely intelligent will notice that the

 taxi is being driven by a dog.  (Author unknown)

Before this class I would have only noticed the woman and what she was wearing. 

Now I try to look at the big picture and try to notice everything in it. 

fantasy and myths

Capital One is notorious for using fantasy and myths to try to make customers think that their credit card is the best to have.  Most of Capital One's commercials are quite amusing.  In this video one might think that Capital One is superior because the video protrays that other credit card companies have less than ideal features attached to it.  You decide "whats in your wallet"....

Guilt or Awareness you decide

Every day for many years there has been these type of signs on Jefferson.  Usually the people who are walking around are just men in their late 60's.  Cherish Life?  Who is to say that the people going to the place these signs target aren't doing that?  Why is it that people think that scare tactics are the best way to inform the public.  Defend Life, I'm a miracle! Heartbeat 18 days from conception.  Do these people realize that girls and women that become pregnant are not always of concent.  Some of these girls/women were raped and maybe even taken advantaged by a family member.  Making a newly pregnant women feel even more guilty about the situation does no one any good.  There is already to many other people telling her what to do.  She is going to this place, not to be harrassed by outsiders, just to get answers.  PP does not tell girls/women to get rid of it.  They talk out the situation and let the new mothers know of the options.  They never make the decisions for the new mothers.  Everytime I drive by these people (who have blocked the doorway of PP) I want to scream.  Go home people, get a life, stop invading into other peoples privacy issues.  It is not your right. Its not your life or your body.........

Fast and Easy

We have become a community of fast paced things. Fast food is probably the most well known of the fast paced era that we currently live in. Places like Little Caesars help the consumer keep up with their fast lives.
Hot-N-Ready on the box means just that. A consumer can walk into just about any Little Caesars and walk our with dinner in under 5 minutes. On tje box it says "Fresh out of the oven! Ready when you are!". I personally like the fast and easy way. But on the other hand I see the impact on my family not only on the nutritional value but also family time. We get dinner fast, eat dinner fast and move on to other things that we need to get to. Sometimes not seeing life because it is passing by so quickly.
